Also in 2013 the President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, gave his 'Alto Patronato' (High Patronage) to the Stresa Festival.

The important achievement goes to the Festival as important event for touristic and cultural development of the area, organized by a nationally and internationally well known musical establishment.
