Milani Vera Milani studied voice under Adriana Maliponte, graduating at the Como Conservatorio di Musica “G. Verdi” where she also studied composition with Luca Francesconi and Vittorio Zago. She continued her studies with Fiorella Prandini. Since then she has focused mainly on the baroque repertoire, and attended the Scuola Civica di Musica in Milan, where she graduated in baroque singing under Roberto Balconi. She took part in master classes by Evelyn Tubb, Patrizia Vaccari, Franco Fussi, Mara Galassi. In 2010 she won a “Fiammetta Semenza” grant.
She collaborates with several baroque ensembles, with conductors such as Roberto Balconi, Francesco Fanna, Antonio Frigè, P. Gelmini, Lorenzo Ghielmi (La Divina Armonia), Stefano Molardi (I Virtuosi delle Muse), Ruben Jais (LaVerdi Barocca) and Gianluca Capuano (Il Canto d’Orfeo).
She sang Filia in Jephte by Giacomo Carissimi at the Festival dell’Aurora (Crotone) conducted by Stefano Molardi; as Belinda in Dido and Aeneas (H. Purcell) and Dalinda in Ariodante (G.F. Händel) conducted by Roberto Balconi (Milan). She sang in Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater conducted by Lorenzo Ghielmi at the Castello Sforzesco in Milan, and sang solo parts in the International Festival in Aosta, the Festival Internazionale Musica negli Horti in Val D’Orcia (Tuscany) and the Internationaler Gottfried-Silbermann-Festival in Germany.​
