Gregory Kunde is considered one of the most elegant and complete belcanto singers on the international lyric scene. He performs worldwide, collaborating regularly with celebrated conductors and directors like Muti, Chung, Gardiner, Davis, Rattle, Noseda, Plasson, Nagano, Pretre, Tate, Nelson, R. Abbado, Bonynge, Scimone, Zedda, Del Monaco, Pizzi, Loy, McVicar.
Recent performances include Donna del Lago in Edinburgh (recording by Opera Rara), Geneva and Vienna, Doktor Faust in Zurich, Puritani and Das Lied von der Erde in New York, Lucrezia Borgia in Las Palmas, Damnation de Faust in San Francisco, Dallas, Philadelphia, Chicago, Toronto, Amsterdam and with the BBC Philharmonic; Benvenuto Cellini with the LSO, Elisabetta regina d’Inghilterra in Brussels and Amsterdam, Otello, Ermione and Zelmira in Pesaro and Japan, Norma at Santa Cecilia (Rome), Catania, Warsaw and Taormina, Alceste in Athens and Copenhagen, Clemenza di Tito in Naples and Aix-en-Provence, Idomeneo in Brussels, Guillaume Tell in La Coruña, Vespri siciliani in Athens, Turin, Naples and Bilbao, Poliuto, Gemma di Vergy and Maria di Rohan (European debut as conductor) at the Festival Donizetti in Bergamo, Huguenots in Strasbourg, Ballo in maschera in Turin, Verdi's Otello at the Fenice Theater in Venice, then in Japan and South Korea, Pirata in Barcelona.
