Mironov

Tenor, Maxim Mironov was born in Tula, and after graduating from the Higher School of Arts in Moscow he joined the theater Helicon Opera in Moscow. Among his engagements he now participates regularly at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, where he has sung the Cantata di Canova by Rossini.
His appearances include Don Ramiro in La Cenerentola at the
Théâtre des Champs-Élysées with the Orchestre de Paris and at the Glyndebourne Festival, Count Libenskof in Viaggio a Reims and Lindoro in Italiana in Algeri at the Rossini Opera Festival.
He has also sung Count Libenskof at the Monnaie and at the Japan Opera Foundation, conducted by Alberto Zedda with whom he works regularly, including the Rossini Opera Festival. He has also appeared at the Frankfurt Opera, sung Orphée et Eurydice by Gluck in Toulon, Lindoro at the Aix en Provence Festival, Teatro San Carlo, Naples and also in Luxembourg, and Almaviva in Barbiere di Siviglia at the Toulon Opera and at the Opera House in Las Palmas where he has been re-invited for Italiana in Algeri. To close the 2008 year he also sang and also Un viaggio a Reims at the Teatro de la Zarzuela, Bilbao and at Santander.
Maxim Mironov recently gave his second recital at St. John’s Smith Square, London to great acclaim, after being invited back after the success of his first appearance last year.
His future engagements include Italiana in Algeri at the Asociacion de amigos de la opera de Mahon and Teatro Real Madrid, and Il barbiere di Siviglia at the Teatro Massimo Palermo.
Furthermore he will be singing Rossini’s Otello at the Lausanne Opera, Il turco in Italia at the Theater an der Wien, Cenerentola at the Tenerife Opera and the Hamburgische Staatsoper, and he will also be making his debut in the opera Cosi fan tutte and Händel’s Messiah at the Vlaamse Opera. He will also be appearing in a film version of Il barbiere di Siviglia being filmed this year, with the L'Orchestre des Siècles conducted by François-Xavier Roth.
