Claudio Fenoglio, born in 1976, graduated with honours in pianoforte, choral music and conducting,  recently taking a degree in composition. He attended numerous specialization courses in pianoforte held by various teachers, including Franco Scala at the Accademia Pianistica di Imola. In parallel with his academic studies, he began to work in the field of opera as an assistant conductor before specializing in choral conducting. He then began his activity as Assistant Chorus Master at the Teatro Massimo di Palermo, later assuming the job of Associate Chorus Master of the Chorus and Chorus Master of the Children’s Chorus at the Teatro Regio di Torino. During the 2007-2008 season, he was responsible for preparing the Children’s Chorus in the opera for children, Anna e Cenerentola, its first performance staged at the Piccolo Regio. Since 2007, he has covered the role of Chorus Master in the productions of Tristan und Isolde by R. Wagner, Edgar and La Bohème by G. Puccini, as well as Carmina Burana by C. Orff. In addition, he collaborates with the Philharmonic Chorus of the Teatro Regio di Torino,  recently preparing it for a performance of Mahler’s Third Symphony.  He also performs as a pianist and as a conductor of vocal chamber groups in programmes for Regio itinerante.
