simboli.jpgAfter graduating in both singing and vocal training at the Conservatorio A. Boito of Parma, and in vocal chamber music at the Conservatorio L. Cherubini in Florence, Anna Simboli took a postgraduate specialization in lieder with Lilion Poli and Leonardo De Lisi, and in operatic repertoire with William Matteuzzi.
Much respected in the field of baroque and classical repertoire she has an intensive career as a soloist in chamber music and operatic roles in Italy and abroad (France, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Belgium, Luxemburg, Holand, England, United States of America, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, the Czeck Republic, Sweden, Denmark, Norway) under the direction of R. Alessandrini (Concerto Italiano), D. Fasolis (RTSI Lugano), Jordi Savall, Bruce Dickey (Concerto Palatino), M. Gester, R. Clemencic, K. Järvi (Orchestra della Rai di Torino), A Lombard, R. King, M. Corboz, J. Savall, F. Moi (Accademia degli Invaghiti). Her repertoire ranges from Monteverdi, Handel, Vivaldi Bach, Mozart to 19th century and contemporary music.
