Affetti-Barocchi

Affetti Barocchi knows its origin to an artistic association in which have merged as rivers flowing towards the sea the characters, expectations and the arts of each individual component.
A grand total has thus been achieved of the professional, concert and recording experiences of each one of the musicians making up the ensemble. These experiences witness to their being involved in the field of Renaissance and Baroque music for many years now, giving shows all over Europe, the United States and Japan both as soloists and in chamber formations of repute, collaborating with artists such as Rinaldo Alessandrini, René Clemencic, Federico Maria Sardelli, Roberto Gabbiani, Chiara Banchini, Enrico Onofri and many others.
Cooperation between the instrumental trio and the vocal trio with Andrea Coen started in Rome and is now laying its foundations in this first project dedicated to the sacred repertoire of the Roman area between the late Renaissance and the early Baroque period.
Coen is an artist who, being among the first in Italy interested in the practical functioning of old keyboard instruments, has been performing for more than twenty years concert activities in Italy, in Europe and in the United States as harpsichord player, organist and forte pianist for the most eminent musical institutions.
