The International Composition Competition "Settimane Musicali di Stresa" is an initiative launched in 2003 with the support of the Piemonte Region in an effort to stimulate creativity and interest towards contemporary classical music.

The winning score deserved its inaugural performance during the International Stresa Festival.

In 2011 we organized the fifth edition of the Competition.

In 2013 the Composition Competition is not scheduled.
