Marco Pierobon (trumpet) obtained his diploma at the Conservatory of
Bolzano with Otto Rabensteiner; he made his specialisation at the School of
Music of Fiesole (Florence) with Roger Bobo and Vinko Globokar and afterwards
with Giancarlo Parodi. He was awarded the First Prize at the international competitions
'Rovere d'Oro' (IM) and 'Aqui Musica' (AL), in addition to winning a position
in the orchestras of Bolzano and San Remo. From 1997 to 1999 he was member of
the Orchestra 'Toscanini' of Parma, then from 1999 to 2002 he was Principal
Trumpet and Soloist of the Orchestra of 'Maggio Musicale Fiorentino'.
Marco Braito (trumpet) obtained his diploma at the Conservatory of Bolzano
with Igino Ferrari; he made his specialisation at the School of High Musical
Specialisation in Saluzzo. He was unanimously awarded the First Prize at the
'Conservatoire National Superieure de Musique' in Paris in the class of Pierre
Thibaud. For two years he was guest Principal Trumpet at the 'San Carlo' Theatre
in Naples and from 2000 to 2003 he was Principal Trumpet and solo of the 'Orchestra
della Toscana', Florence.
Nilo Caracristi (French horn) obtained his diploma at the Conservatory
of Trento with Jiri Sedlak; he made his specialisation in Italy with Guido Corti,
in Chicago with Dale Clevenger and Arnold Jacobs and also in Oslo with Froydis
Ree Wekre. In 1991 he was awarded a prize at the international competition of
Porcia (PN) and in 1997 he won the international competition in Asti. He has
worked with the orchestra of Teatro alla Scala, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino,
Radio Svizzera Italiana of Lugano, Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento, I
Solisti Veneti. In 1996 he was guest Principal Horn in the 'Teatro Comunale
di Cagliari' and from 1997 to 1999 he was Principal Horn at the 'San Carlo'
Theatre of Naples.
Gianluca Scipioni (trombone) obtained his diploma at the Conservatory
of Rome with Gianni Mazzoni; he made his specialisation at the School of Music
of Fiesole (Florence) and then in Chicago and New York with Rex Martin, Arnold
Jacobs and Joseph Alessi. He was awarded with the 'Virtuosité' at the Conservatory
of Lausanne in the class of Roger Bobo. In 1993 he obtained the second prize
at the international competition 'Rovere d‚Oro' (IM). He has worked as Principal
Trombone with the Orchestra of the 'Teatro alla Scala', with the 'RAI' National
Orchestra and the 'Santa Cecilia' Symphony Orchestra, Rome. Oswald Prader (tuba) obtained his diploma at the Musikhochschule in Frankfurt with David Glidden; he made his specialisation with Robert Tucci, Michael Lind and Tom Walsh. He was a member for three consecutive years of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO). For the 2001/02 season he played in the Orchestra of the Opera House of Frankfurt. He works with the Opera House of Karlsruhe, the Opera House of Hannover, and with the orchestras of the Frankfurt - (HR), the Stuttgart - (SWR), and the Bavarian Radio (BR) in Germany. In Italy he works with the Orchestra of the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome and the Teatro Regio of Turin. At present he makes his specialisation at the Musikhochschule in Munich with the prof. Josef Steinbòck and plays in the theatre of Meiningen. |
