D. Šostakovič, Violin concerto no. 1 A. Dvořák, Symphony “The new world”
Two contrasting moods alternate in whirling fashion when one thinks of “new worlds”: curiosity and fear. Curiosity about what’s new carries along with it the hope of a better future full of promises and expectations; fear of the unknown blocks the floating and compels the immobility of certitudes. A fair combination of these two matters, moderating the excesses, could give rise to a balanced and positive attitude of discovery and awareness.

Stresa Congress Hall is situated in the heart of the town, few meters from the railway station and from all the most important hotels and restaurants.
