I have always been fascinated by fairy tales: they teach us how to live and help us to dream without bettering our reality. The presence of sufferance and of the evil is common in fairy tales, same as the horror for being overpowered and for the perception of death. Fairy tales are metaphors of life. I suppose that La Cenerentola (Cinderella) would like to tell us, today as in the past, that kindness of heart, respect for other people, dedication to our work has important feedbacks, much more than squalid rights conquered thanks to favouritisms! How up to date is the Cinderella and how mischievous is our Rossini, that hides behind a broad smile and, with the point of his pen, shows us the road of true commitment through the lightness of his music, vital and sparkling.
