beller-carbone.jpgBorn in Germany, she grew up in Spain and lives now in Italy. First Price for singing in Madrid, then studied with Astrid Varnay in Munich. In 1993, she sings Fiordiligi, Contessa and Antonia in Munich (Gärtnerplatz Theater) then at the Bayerische Staatsoper München, Kölner Philharmonie, Bonner Philharmonie and German Television (Zdf).
From 1996 to 2001, she is soloist at the Nationaltheater Mannheim with Jenny in Weill’s The rise and fall of the city of Mahagonny, Micaela, Mimi, Liu, Violetta, Donna Anna, Freia, Gutrune, Rosalinde.
In 2003, she debuts as Salome in Weimar, under Lothar Koenigs, then in Hannover and during the same year debuts at the Berlin Philharmonie with Symphony no. 14 by Shostakovich.
In 2004, debuts as Tosca and Santuzza. In October she participates in a new Salome production in Weimar.
In 2005, Ariadne (Ariadne auf Naxos) in Wiesbaden, then Marie (Wozzeck) in Essen (with Stefan Soltesz and Johannes Schaaf). In October, concert with Lieder by Richard Strauss and Granados at The Carnegie Hall New York. In November performs Jenny (Mahagonny) at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. In December, concert with Salome (last scene) and Poème de l’amour et de la mer by Chausson with the Bamberger Symphoniker under Michael Gielen. She repeats the same program at the Berlin Konzerthaus with the Berliner Symphonieorchester.
In 2006, debuts as Katerina Ismailova (Lady Macbeth von Mzensk) at St Gallen under Jiri Kout. In March, Santuzza at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, then a new production of Lady Macbeth von Mzensk in Weimar. In July, Turandot by Busoni in concert at the Festival di Macerata.
In 2007, she is Lady Macbeth of Mzensk in Toronto and in Berlin, Sieglinde (Die Walküre) in Weimar, Franzi (Wiener Blut) in Nancy. In 2008, Tosca in Nice and in Athens, Salome in Torino.
Among her upcoming engagements Marie (Wozzeck) in Verona, Krenek (Karl V) in Bregenz, Tosca in Nantes and Montreal, Rosalinde (die Fledermaus) in Lyon, Salome in Genève.
