Josep Benet, tenor, begins as soloist soprano in the Escolanía de Montserrat and later on he studies theory, piano and violin in the Conservatorio Superior de Barcelona. He receives singing lessons from Jordi Albareda and completes his education in Munich’s Hochschule für Musik. He works with ensembles such as Organum, Il Seminario Musicale, La Chapelle Royale, Les Arts Florissants, or orchestras as the Orquestra Ciudat de Barcelona, Orquestra de Cambra Teatre Lliure, etc., performing in the main European festivals. Likewise, he takes part in many disc and radio recordings with a repertoire that ranges from the Middle Ages to classic 20th century composers such as Stravinsky, Britten or Berio.
