ciampa.jpgFrancesco Ivan Ciampa, born in Avellino (Italy) in 1982, is attending Bruno Aprea's Orchestral Conducting Class at the Conservatory of 'Santa Cecilia' in Rome, and Giacomo Vitale's 10th year of Composition Class with at the Avellino Conservatory.
He is graduated in Arts (Cultural Materials Conservation) and Instrumentation for Band.
He attended the Orchestral Conducting Masterclass 'The Brahms's 4 symphonies', held by Carlo Maria Giulini, at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena
He attended several international Courses of Music Interpretation of Orchestral conducting in Italy and abroad and he has been selected for conduct the public final concerts.
As winner of the National Competition for young orchestra conductors, he conducted the Italian Conservatories Orchestra during the Christmas Concert in honour of His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI, transmitted live worldwide from Santa Maria Maggiore Basilic, Rome.
He conducted several orchestras in Italy and abroad.
