Born in Mantova in 1982, Eleonora Buratto graduated at the Conservatory “Lucio Campiani” of Mantova in 2006. She studied over three years under the guidance of Luciano Pavarotti and since 2006 she is specializing with Natale De Carolis. She attended a masterclass with Enzo Dara debuting in Mozart Bastiano e Bastiana staged at the Teatro Bibiena of Mantova.
In 2007 she won the “A. Belli” Competition of Teatro Lirico Sperimentale of Spoleto, where she debuted with success the role of Musetta (La bohème) and the title role of Dirindina in D. Scarlatti’s Dirindina va a teatro.
In June 2007 she debuted the role of Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro staged at the Opera de Mahon in Menorca. She also took part in various concerts singing opera arias and chamber music among which the concert where Luciano Pavarotti received the Donizetti Prize (Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo, 2006) and the concert for the 60th anniversary of Leo Nucci’s debut, where she performed by his side. She recently performed The Beggar's Opera at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna and at the Teatro Valli in Reggio Emilia. At the Teatro Regio in Turin she just sang the role of Musetta in Bohème. At the Wexford Festival Opera she recently took part in the productions of Old Maid and the Thief (Ms. Pinkerton), Tutti in maschera (Lisetta) and Il signor Bruschino (Sofia).
Eleonora Buratto has just made her début in Thais (Crobyle) for the opening of Teatro Regio Season (2008/09) in Turin, where she performed also La bohème (Musetta), on tour in the theatres of Alessandria, Vercelli and Biella; Così fan Tutte (Despina) at Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia.
Eleonora Buratto has just made her début in Thaïs (Crobyle) for the opening of Teatro Regio Season (2008/09) in Turin, where she performed also La bohème (Musetta), on tour in the theatres of Alessandria, Vercelli and Biella; Così fan tutte (Despina) at Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia and Demofoonte by Jommelli under the baton of Riccardo Muti in Salzburg and in Paris, production that will be on tour also in Ravenna.
Others plans include La Cenerentola in Stresa, La bohème in Turin, Gianandrea Noseda conducting and Così fan tutte in Menorca.
